WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL LOW?

Everyone experiences moments of frustration and disappointment when they are unable to achieve their goals. During those times, we may feel drained, helpless, and hopeless. We might stress ourselves out in an attempt to turn things around and make them better. Unfortunately, our efforts may not always lead to success, and we may end up feeling lost and defeated.

This message is for those who feel lost and unsure of how to move forward.

The first step is to ask ourselves if it’s worth it to continue feeling discouraged. By answering this question, we can gain clarity and find solutions to our situation.

I recently read a book that discussed the idea that the process of becoming heartbroken is often more difficult than being heartbroken itself.

If we’re struggling to find our way back, there are some tips that may help us regain hope and momentum in our lives.

Try to find a peaceful place”.
Go and find a comfortable place that makes you feel at peace, such as your favourite park bench, beach, playground, café, or library. It’s best to avoid getting caught up in past events or incidents that made you feel bad. Instead, allow yourself to enjoy the surroundings and take your time to let go of any negative memories.”

Cleaning can be therapeutic.
When you keep your living or working space clean and organized, you will feel more refreshed and motivated. Start by avoiding mess and creating a consistent way of organizing things. Make some changes to your personal and work areas by getting rid of any unused or unwanted items. By doing this, you can create a shiny, polished space that will help you feel more normalized. Remember, collecting the trash and cleaning up is the first step to a cleaner and more organized space.

“Plan a trip that will make your soul smile.
Consider your budget and comfort level, and invite someone you feel comfortable and secure with to join you. Traveling and experiencing new places, foods, and cultures, while meeting new people and building healthy relationships, can help you create lasting memories and feel refreshed. This energy can also give you the resilience and motivation to tackle your daily routine with renewed vigor.”
Read a book or Listen to it.
“Reading a book or listening to it can be a great way to reduce stress and improve your life. Books are incredibly powerful tools that can take you on a journey without the need for a plane ticket or a heavy budget. They can make you feel revitalized, help you to think, believe, and act differently, and encourage you to live life to the fullest. If you don’t have the habit of reading, you can still try listening to podcasts of books or motivational audios, which can take a small part in healing you. However, the effectiveness of this approach may vary from person to person.”
Talk to People
Effective communication is essential for our mental and emotional well-being. Sharing our emotions and thoughts with trusted individuals can be a powerful way to reduce stress and maintain good health. Therefore, it’s crucial to identify reliable and safe individuals, such as a partner, parent, or friend, to confide in. They can offer us emotional support and help us regain our emotional balance. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them when you need someone to talk to. Remember, communicating with others is key to maintaining a healthy and happy life.
